Tim has endured 4 surgeries and 4 months of dialysis since his end stage renal failure diagnosis. He is scheduled for his first transplant pre testing orientation on December 19th!!
This has been a long road with several months left to go before he is actually placed on the transplant list...
Our lives revolve around a beautiful machine that, for 9 to 10 hours every night, extends Tim’s life by filtering toxins through the peritoneal.
We are on a strict renal diet and Tim has to take “binders” and “blockers” with every meal in order to manage his phosphate and potassium levels. Too high or too low leads to death...
Our insurance and prescription costs have gone through the roof.
We have lost over half our business the last three months due to surgeries and dialysis. I am searching for work and taking anything offered. Tim has applied for disability as he is obviously unable to work until after he receives a transplant.
Once again we are turning to our community for help.
January 11th from 1 pm to Midnight we will be holding a benefit with 10 bands, raffles, silent auction and a chili cook off already on the Water Tank’s calendar!
We will update the event as we go and I will list the bands as soon as I receive confirmation from each of them. This is going to be another amazing event filled with beautiful people, kick butt musicians, tons of information on kidney disease and live donor awareness.
